WHAT FORMER PLAYERS SAY

"Coach O is a players coach.  He cares about you as a whole and is willing to help you with anything.  Personally he has put in so many hours to make sure that I'm good in my personal life.  He is a role model and always did the right thing, so we naturally followed him.  With football, he puts in a system that best fits his players........"

About Coach O

I am a believer, father, teacher, and coach, with twenty-seven seasons of coaching football experience at the youth, middle school, high school, semi-professional, and collegiate levels. Outside of my faith and family, coaching is my passion and true love in life.  My coaching purpose is to be significant in the lives of young people, leading with love and trust to cultivate life-long relationships and mentoring young people to reach their goals and dreams. Further, I have a strong passion to coach the coaches and educating them.  I have also coached high school wrestling and track.  If I could write a book about the Joy of my life, it would be titled, "The 4 F's to Life: Faith, Family, Football, and Fishing!"  I am from Colorado Springs.  My son, Todd (20) is a student-assistant D2 football coach where I currently coach as well.

I believe firmly in the importance of education and being a life-long learner, as I hold two Master's degrees.  One is a M.A.T. in Teaching from Grand Canyon University and the other is in Human Performance with an Emphasis in Coaching from Adams State University.  Further, I have experience as an Instructor/Facilitator at the University of Ohio's Master's of Coaching Education program.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. In addition, I like learning about leadership, culture, X's and O's, and growing personally and professionally by learning from others, reading, going to clinics, and any other ways that I can.
